The world of vintage Omega is vast and filled with interesting and unique references, from sports models to dress watches and everything in between. This 37mm ref. 2603-2, often referred to as a “jumbo” for its large-for-the-era size, somehow ticks multiple boxes all at once: a dash of military influence with a bit of a dressy vibe, all in a super classic daily wearer. The exceptionally well-preserved dial has aged to a really light champagne color, and the in-house Omega cal. 265 manual wound movement with center sweep seconds hand is one of the brand's classic workhorses. This would be a perfect addition for any Omega collector or anyone who appreciates the rare finding of a time capsule from the 1950s.

CASE & BRACELET

The lovely oversized case remains in excellent condition and has been lightly polished in the past and features incredible, uniquely angled lugs. It retains its original Omega-signed crown. The snap-on case back has been lightly polished and is incredibly clean with practically no signs of wear. The watch comes supplied on a two-piece handmade leather strap.

DIAL & HANDS

The original silver dial has aged to feature a light warm coloration and is in exceptional vintage condition, showing only minor signs of aging and remaining bright in coloration. The black markers and silver Arabic numerals at the even hours are in wonderful condition and show almost no signs of aging. The original silver dauphine-style hands are in fantastic condition, with the inlaid lume having aged to a light cream color.
