For sale a magnificent pair of earrings, featuring two cherubs. One holds an arrow and bow in his hand, the other one holds a castle and a branch of flowers. Angels, or cherubs, embody sacred love, and may be understood as guardians. They always convey in them the hidden symbolism of love and friendship. The two miniatures have a beautiful frame made in 18k yellow gold, while the earrings are decorated with little pearl ribbon bows and are mounted in silver. The earrings are dated back from the 19th century, the Victorian era.
